My classroom is an entire work of heart. Thank you for your interest in our project. We strive every day to make the typical world work for us in a way that we can understand. My classroom is made up of nine special needs three-year-old children. Many of my students come to me without language and struggle to connect to the typical world in a way that brings them comfort or understanding. With your help, my staff and I can help connect the typical world to the lives of my students in a way that makes them feel safe, understood, and comforted. Many of the sensory items listed will enable my students to find a way to communicate and to obtain the sensory input necessary for them to work through a school day. Your generosity will enable us to help our students develop the skills they need to form the foundations of education.
