I am currently the librarian teacher at AES. Many of the lower grade students do not have supplies for class. I would like to have enough supplies for the student in the lower grades that do not have supplies so they can do their assignments for my class and have their own set of supplies for when they come to my class. The supplies that I am asking for will be used for my classroom in order for no students to have to share supplies. Every year, many students come to school with no supplies but this is a year that sharing can possibly be deadly. Many parents cannot afford school supplies because they are currently not working, and pencil, paper and crayons are not a priority right now. These students need these supplies in order to practice the reading and writing skills for my class and not feel left out from the learning because they cannot do the work.
