I teach first grade and my kiddos are always complaining about how the chairs make their legs hurt. At this age they are all different heights and sizes. They are growing and the classroom chairs feel like torture. I think they will learn more in a comfortable seating environment. Help me ease their pain by giving them yoga ball chairs. I have chosen a truly lasting yoga ball chair that will withstand anything these kids can bring. I want to meet these kids half way and show them that we care about their comfort. I hear so many teachers say, "He can't sit down", "He is always squirming". Reality is truth. They are squirming and moving around because they are uncomfortable. These chairs will allow height flexibility. No more sitting too low or too high. The kids will not complain of their legs aching and needing to stretch or get up and walk around every five minutes. I feel that students will be able to sit longer and concentrate for greater lengths of time if they have alternative seating available to them. I have one yoga ball in my classroom and they all want to use it at all times. I just want to remove the uncomfortable chairs from my room and give them a comfortable place to learn.
