With the addition of a library iPad, my students will have more access to discover the world around them, pursue interests, and engage in 21st Century learning that is crucial in today's society. Preparing our students for the 21st Century is vital. In order to ensure that the future of our society is able to use technology appropriately and ethically ensures that our children can succeed. Each week, small groups of students will have an opportunity to use our iPad in a variety of ways. We will be able to use our iPad to conduct research using databases. We will also use our iPad to create stories using different apps. Stop Motion is one of our favorites where we become comic book authors for a day. We will also use our iPad to record ourselves reading stories that we create. In addition, as a STEAM school, the addition of an iPad will allow my students to use technology in new, hands-on ways.
