As the students in front of me change, it can be hard to find the funding to update the classroom that they learn in. These items that I am requesting will help me create an environment for my students that can help ease the worries many face in their day-to-day lives. I aim to help students calm their anxiety and learn strategies that will help for them to cope with their stresses. By doing so, they can learn to be successful both in the classroom and their lives outside of school. Because we don't know what is going on in each of their lives everyday, it is important to provide a variety of tools to manage stress and energy. It is my goal to provide students with a variety of learning tools in order to change their educational experience. These tools will allow my students to learn focus strategies and spend their time and attention on the academics. The flexible seating and pedal bike will allow for students to get out their energy without leaving the classroom. This will put the focus on learning as they no longer have to take a break outside of the room.
