Our after-school students are doing a new computer club this year where they learn to code, design projects, and create basic online games. Some of our older students are also learning about Bitcoins and online investing as well. After-school clubs keep our students engaged while offering opportunities to create technology-based skills for real-world learning. They also have a chance to enhance their critical thinking skills which, when all of this is placed together, creates a more well-rounded student. A new MacBook to add to our computer cart gives kids access to the same materials they will use in their future work or college spaces.

About my class
