I started teaching in a math and reading learning disabilities resource room this school year. After getting to know my students over the last couple of months, I've noticed how they learn the best if there are multiple ways for them to learn besides paper and pencil activities. Each of my students has different needs when it comes to learning and I want to be able to accommodate them! I've noticed that my students thrive on hands-on activities such as learning games. However, there are not many resources like that available to us. Playing learning games allows my students to enjoy learning and practicing new skills in a variety of ways. The learning resources that I have selected align with our school's curriculum. The great thing about these resources is that many of them come with multiple components, so they won't have to repeat the same learning activity over and over. These resources are ones that will help me meet the learning needs of each of my students, and I will be able to use these resources over and over for years to come.
