Students sit in desks all day, often getting restless, using bad posture, and with very little energy. In our classroom we have a round table with is used as an alternative place for students to take turns working at, when we are doing group work or independent assignments. Research shows that these ball chairs help increase energy, burn calories, improve posture, and promote focus. I am starting small with just beginning with five, and look forward to seeing the changes these make in my students performance. I ran this idea by my class and they thought it would be amazing.
