I teach K-8 Health and Physical education. These basketballs will be used at every grade level to teach skills. K-5 will use them to teach basics such as dribbling and passing. 6-8 will use them for further development of those skills. Our boys and girls basketball teams will also use them for practice. The donated equipment will allow us to do activities that develop sportsmanship and leadership skills while also showing that hard work brings results. Basketball is a sport that anyone can play, but also can help bring opportunities to those who commit to be great. These basketballs are going to allow students to develop their talents while also teaching them teamwork skills that they will use in their everyday lives. Help our students learn that hard work is not wasted. Help our students learn that hard work brings positive outcomes.
