The classroom has always been a place to share ideas with others, make discoveries, and generate questions about new concepts. The classroom isn't supposed to be in my home, but here we are. With a ton of technology available online, nothing can replicate the attention to detail that a document camera can bring to this new classroom. By having a document camera, I can project anything I want to show to my students, all in real-time. A document camera will allow me to demonstrate different writing techniques, model how to edit writing, point out the details of a small map, and even display replicas of ancient artifacts. When we were together in the classroom, I was able to bring students in close to watch me work, but that can't happen when we're keeping each other safe by being miles apart. And once we're finally back together, we'll still need to keep our distance by staying 6 feet apart. Help bring us closer together with this document camera that will still be needed beyond this time of distance learning.
