I teach at an all Girls's public school. My students come from all over the district to learn in a single gender setting. All the students had to apply and choose to stay in an academically rigorous environment. Art is often their favorite class. There is less pressure, art is relaxing, and they learn to solve different kinds of problems in here. Everyone can be successful in my class. All that's required is effort.
