These materials will make a difference in our students' learning by encouraging them to read in different places, rather than just their assigned seat. Choices allow students to feel empowered. Flexible seating encourages children to find comfortable positions throughout the classroom. It is our hope that our comfortable students are calm, productive, and focused. We believe our students will remain focused and productive when they have choice in where they can sit, read, and work. When student's have choice, they feel like they have more ownership not only in their environment but also their academic progress. It is our mission to make every student feel successful not only in their classroom but in the real world and if starts with making choices of where and how they learn they we want to provide every opportunity for them.
