The goal of my project is to create a place where my students feel comfortable and safe learning. I can do this by having resources available at my students disposal. Since I am in a low income area, any resources I can provide to my students without them having to buy them is my goal. This project should help me enormously. Resources like pencils, pens, dry erase markers, folders, binders will be instrumental in developing my project and group work based style of teaching. I will also continue to develop the reading nook part of my room by adding work trays/desks in that area. I will be able to send kids into that area of the room so that they can work when they need a moment to relax.
