My students come to school eager to learn and ready to read. Every day I meet with a group of students, whom I work with during small group instruction. Each reading group meets with me at my table for 30 minutes. We focus on letter sounds, sight words, comprehension skills and writing. However, we are so squished at my kidney table. I don't have enough room for my students to sit comfortably at my table. At times I have some students that work on the floor next to me due to the lack of space. My largest group consists of 10 students and we don't all fit at my table. If we had these stools we would fit more comfortably around my table during our reading groups and everyone will have room to participate.
