Kindergarten is such a special year! Students come everyday eager to learn. I have my challenges teaching these 5 year old students academics and social skills. I have taught kindergarten for 17 years and choose to stay teaching Kindergarten the rest of my career. Why you ask? It is the greatest to see the students explore and accomplish things at this level they may have never thought possible. They amaze me each and every year. As they go to first grade in May I claim them as mine forever in my heart. Our school is Title 1 which means they live in poverty and have many challenges to overcome. They are loving, helpful, brilliant, energetic and extremely smart!!!! They just need your support - PLEASE HELP MY CLASS!!!!
