Please provide my class with books that will help them gain insight into how to be kind to one another as well as accept their classmates and themselves. We're focusing on celebrating our differences. Please also help us obtain materials such as noise canceling headphones to help those of us who struggle with sensory processing. I want to make my classroom community one where each student feels valued and can learn best. My students love to hear stories like these read aloud and to see pictures of people who look like them. They love to hear ideas on how they can be kind and brainstorm ways that they can show kindness to others.
