Kindergartners learn best through doing, and the tools in this project help students do exactly that. The literacy games require teamwork, deep thinking, and are developmentally appropriate for students who are both native English speakers and English Language Learners. These games support students in developing phonemic awareness, which will build both their reading and writing skills. The math tools allow for small group work, partner games, and support students' development of math concepts. Number playing cards can be used in so many ways and students at all levels can engage in learning with them! Our new science curriculum involves investigation, observation, and recording data. These require mobile ways to draw and write, so clipboards and brushes are a must!
