I am excited to offer my students many new stories in an engaging and cooperative format. However, in order to create a listening center for my 2nd grade classroom, we are in need of some technology! A cd player with headphone splitter and six sets of headphones will enable my kids to share their listening experience. Sharing this read aloud station will build increased engagement and collaborative learning. The listening center will allow my students to listen to educational read-alouds during our daily 5 instruction. These read-alouds will be paired with workbook activities that will engage them and build comprehension skills.
