These materials will make a difference in my students learning because it will give them more choices when it comes to selecting books they want to read. It will boost their confidence and build their reading stamina at the same time. Students who are presented with books that they want to read are more likely to read more. Teaching students to read in first grade is of utmost importance so that they build their foundational skills and continue to enjoy reading as they progress through elementary school. It is both a privilege and an honor to teach students to read in first grade. These books will help to support my teaching and the students learning this year.
