I am a big believer that learning is fun, and with all these hands-on science and math activities my students will begin to think the same way as I do. Sadly as teachers we are not always given all the materials we want and feel will help make the greatest learning environment. I know that with many more opportunities for my students to explore and see different science concepts proven throughout our STEM lessons, they will not just be excited to come to school and do more hands-on projects but they will also be mastering concepts they never thought they would learn. Just doing simple experiments in class such as mixing coke and mentos or oil and water can get them interested in learning and testing even more. Imagine having a vast amount of opportunities for learning excitement! We will use the materials to do more hands-on investigations. The camera and printer will give us the opportunity to better document and present our investigations to others as well as help them build their portfolios.
