These chairs will help make one permanent math station and one permanent literacy development station. Students will visit both stations each day. At math they will learn different representations for numbers, how to add, subtract, and decompose numbers. At the literacy station students will learn letter names, letter sounds, learn to write their names, and practice sight words. It's difficult and time consuming to have kindergarten kids pick up their chairs in our small classroom, weave through other students seated in existing stations, and bring their chairs to the new stations with prepared supplies. The solution? Permanent chairs! Thanks for your support in making our class have all the resources they need!
