My students deal with a lot on a daily basis. They are very routine driven and the slightest deviation can ruin their day. Unfortunately, my students are triggered and there is nowhere they can go in order to calm down and reset themselves. Having that place to relax and reset, such as these requested chairs, will bring them back into their educational journey. If my students feel excited, comfortable and safe in their learning environment on a social emotional level, their educational opportunity is extremely enhanced. This project will truly shape their learning by providing my students with a sense of comfort, enjoyment, and opportunity.

About my class
