Providing my students with The Diary of Anne Frank is essential to their learning experience in middle school. This story gives students a chance to read such an influential story that shaped how we explain the Holocaust. If given the opportunity to read The Diary of Anne Frank, my students will be able to learn a major part of history, through the story of a girl that is close to their age. Luckily my students have the opportunity to see a theater production of The Diary of Anne Frank, but with a hard copy of the book they will endure a full experience.
