My math students are really working hard this year, but sometimes they make mistakes! We encourage the use of pencils but have no electric sharpeners to remain sharp. With years of use, our sharpeners have fallen by the wayside and are non-functioning. We could really use some heavy duty electric ones to stay focused on the importance of algebra. How great it would be to graph a linear function with a nicely sharpened pencil. How fantastic it could be to solve a multi-step real-world problem with a crisp pointed yellow Ticonderoga! How amazing it would seem to these great bunch of students if they could solve a problem through using the Pythagorean theorem with a fresh pencil that doesn't break instantly! Please support our project!
