Having a floor rug with individual well marked space will impact my students ability to understand and visualize personal boundaries. My hope is that they will learn to take into consideration the needs of their fellow classmates and how their actions affect the learning environment in our classroom. I have a few special students that need their own personal safe space for medical purposes. Having a rug with well defined individual space will help keep these little ones safe without making them feel excluded. This makes the need of a well defined personal imperative and will help make our transition to rug time smoother and safer.

About my class
