Today's students need many opportunities to experience different types of technology. The students at our school come from all different backgrounds and will benefit from experimenting with beginning coding using the ladybug coders. The document camera will open up many opportunities to enhance our reading and writing workshop. We will be able to project student work as well as look in-depth at specific techniques used by authors when we project books on the big screen for all to see. The splitter will allow multiple students to listen to reading during our Reader's workshop. Our students are also required to take a computer based assessment using computers that have a mouse. Unfortunately our classroom laptops do not use a mouse. The kid friendly mouse will help them practice using a mouse in the classroom.
