The planting kits will be utilized to provide an understanding of various ways gardening is important and will also show them that gardening can be an occupation or a leisure activity. The planting kits will provide a base for many types of lessons which will include functional math and reading incorporated with sensory input and fine motor development. The students will also learn about sustainable gardening and composting. By donating to my project you will be providing invaluable material for hands on activities which incorporate many goal areas and core subjects which are so important for our students.
