My school does not provide any art classes in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade. We are starting a Creativity Club, to meet this gap in learning. So many of our children do not have the home life that can nurture the artistic sides of our kids. We feel that an after school art club can provide this and we know that making it at a very small cost, or preferably, no cost, will help the club be as successful as possible. My mind is overfilled with project ideas to inspire our wonderful children! I would like to teach them about many different art medias and styles, including painting, drawing, pastels, collages, and also projects to display and enhance our school environment and buildings.
