Improving my math center will help my students to have math activities that they enjoy that won't cause them to get frustrated. My students love to build with blocks and make pictures out of the varying blocks. These activities will allow my students to enjoy the activities while learning about how things go together to make a different shape. My 4 autistic boys are sweet and are very creative with what they build. They will build a whole story around a structure they have built, including characters, and how the structure came to be. It is amazing to listen to the stories that come out of their minds from building the structures. They will go on about to to improve the structure, and they work together to make it even better than before.

About my class
