Our student athletes would love the opportunity to train at the highest level possible with proper equipment. Our weight room currently doesn't have any dumbbells, free weights, or benches. The minimal equipment inside of it is outdated, broke, or unusable. By donating to Columbia High School our athletes will be able to utilize the equipment for strength training and conditioning. An updated weight room will give our athletes a chance to train and compete at the level of all other athletes in our area. While participating in sports training our athletes will also have a chance to become stronger, faster, and life long-learners. They will develop vital skills and better attitudes towards maintaining a healthier lifestyle. Columbia coaches' goals are to teach, develop, organize, manage and offer youth players the opportunity to learn the fundamental skills of each sport while instilling life-lessons and values such as character, team work, discipline, respect and sportsmanship. The weights and training equipment would be used for all sports in our building such as basketball, volleyball, cheerleading, track, tennis, golf, bowling, baseball, softball, soccer and wrestling.
