These materials will reach over 700 students in a Title I School District. These are basic classroom supplies to jump-start the various departments we serve including Science, History, Art English and Music. I realize it doesn't seem like a large request, however, working with disadvantaged kids poses a unique set of difficulties including making sure we have everything we need in order to be successful. Right now at the beginning of the year it boils down to supplies. I am a Paraeducator here and I offer as much support as I can to both students and teachers in the Classroom. When I am not teaching in the classroom, you will find me coaching Softball, Basketball, and Wrestling. Every program needs specific materials in order to be successful. I have a number of different classrooms on a daily basis, that I bring pens and paper to in order to help these amazing students be able to take notes and be successful.
