Young kids are always wishing to move about in the classroom and being made to sit still can be draining physically and mentally for students in a classroom. These yoga balls will ensure that my students can make the movements they wish without being disruptive to the classroom learning environment. The different colors can also help to call groups back for small group intervention during Math and English. The use of yoga balls in my classroom, as a form of flexible seating, will aid students in respecting and being aware of personal space, for themselves and their peers.
