Chairs in the band room are over 20 years old! Students don’t want to use them because the finish has worn off and some are very badly marked up. Plus, we have a surge in our student population this year so I have larger classes than ever. I need to make sure I have enough chairs for concert performances. For many of the kids, this is the only group they belong to. I want to ensure their music experience is as positive as I possibly can. All the students in the music program are committed to the success of the group and deserve to have good equipment to use.
