Thanks for checking in on me! I have been a special education teacher for 20 years this fall! BUT I have never had the opportunity to be a lead science teacher until this year. I am desperately collecting things to make my classroom interesting to explore and discover with hands-on science supplies. I have had some great donations from former science teachers and scoured the yard sale pages and bought all kinds of items. What I am now searching for is items to enhance my lessons such as some fun engaging products for work centers to encourage independent learning and small group work. I have found some great Lakeshore things like the "Can do" cans that have magnets, magnification and little experiments that my students would love to get their hands on. It's these small but somewhat expensive items (for a teachers salary) that can really add to a students day and enhance their learning. I hope you will consider helping out any amount will help. Thanks!
