I will reach my first grade students where they are at in their learning journey. I will use educational games, cards, songs and toys, ( I mean tools), to make every lesson fun and engaging. They wont even know they are learning to read, write and spell. I will use the Phonetic materials to work on blending phonograms and words that they will be exposed to in their daily reading. I will use the playdough to have students create letters and thinking maps to make beginning, middle and ending sounds fun to put together. Finally, I will use games to reinforce reading and literacy skills while making every lesson exciting!
