These materials will allow me to create a more inviting and welcoming classroom. My school was built in 1927 and is slowly crumbling apart. My classroom hasn't been painted in 15 years; the paint is flaking so that students often need to brush it off their classwork and clothes, there are various patch jobs on my classroom walls which never got paint. The tables are ancient and also falling apart; whiteboard paint will spruce them up playfully! With these materials I can paint over the raw plaster patch jobs, the multi-colored years old flaking paint, and mount posters that will engage students' minds.
