The Student and Family Engagement (SAFE) center will address the social- emotional, as well as the academic needs of the whole child. This includes implementing a successful collaboration between the school, families and the community through wraparound services. The SAFE center will provide students with many areas of support to help improve their attendance, behavior and academic achievement, with the goal of building confident high school graduates prepared for college and career. One area of support for our students will be providing mental health services to address anxiety issues some of our students face; this in turn will help increase our students' attendance rate, which is currently at 55.59%. In addition to supporting our students, the SAFE center will offer assistance to their families in the areas of financial literacy, health and wellness, and legal help, to name a few.
