These materials will help develop my students' language abilities through play and structured practice. The food and prepositional manipulatives will give my preschool and kindergarten students the chance to learn foundations of language through fun and interactive play. The sequencing cards and reading comprehension kits will help my 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade students practice reading for meaning and telling stories. My goal is to give my students opportunities to boost their language abilities in interactive and fun ways. Having new materials will excite my student and motivate them to participate in the speech therapy lessons. Making activities engaging with interesting materials encourages students to apply their newly learned language abilities outside of the speech room.
