Please help me provide these important items to my sweet 3rd graders. Flexible seating options will allow students to comfortably move around the room while reading, as staying in one seat for two hours is very difficult for children this age. Along with flexible seating, Spanish chapter books will also support my students in their learning. I have several students who do not speak any English yet, and I want to overcome the challenge I have faced of lack of texts to offer these students. Supplying them with texts in their home language will encourage them to increase their reading comprehension and make them feel more comfortable as they begin to learn the English language. All of these new supplies together will help create a cozier environment in my reading classroom. I hope to give all students a welcoming and safe environment to learn and grow during this pivotal time in their academic career!
