I have started a new elective class for middle school this year called functional fitness. The class is for students who are looking to improve their fitness level or students who want a more intimate setting than a large PE class. Our first project was funded within a day. We were able to purchase our first sets of dumbbells and some resistance bands. The students have really taken to this new elective and are having a blast; however, now that the year has started I can see we are going to need more equipment. We will need another set of dumbbells and also a variety of wall balls. This equipment will allow us to continue our program as we were hoping. We have some basic equipment, but we need more!
