In our district, we have gone to a 1:1 means of instruction for our students. However, the devices we utilize are not conducive for typing their responses. Students need an avenue for their creativity to be transported. Many students will handwrite their papers, but this does not allow the true revision and sharing process that technology does. Some students will even type on their phones on a document instead of the current 1:1 device used because of the lack of convenience and workability. By providing students with a keyboard, they can type, analyze, and assess their writing through a better means
