High school students have many pressures in their lives. Most have extra-curricular activities, jobs, family responsibilities, homework, relationships and more. Their cell phones seem to control so many of these responsibilities. While I understand these pressures and try to assist my students as best I can, I would like their 45 minutes in my classroom to be pressure free. If my students can put their phones down for the entire class period, I truly believe it will help them focus on their lesson and realize that they can function more effectively without their phones. In addition to the cell phone storage, I would like to furnish our new copy room with the necessary supplies to help my colleagues and myself work more efficiently.

About my class
