I have 10 special education students in my classroom. They are 4th, 5th and 6th grade students. Our Intermediate Grade school is home to 1500 students. We are one of three Cross Categorical classrooms in our building. I have students with Down's Syndrome, Autism, Fragile X, Cerebral Palsy, Expressive and Receptive Language delays, ADD and ADHD. My students have cognitive delays in all academic areas. They also have delays in functional life skills. They receive speech and language therapy, occupational therapy and physical therapy to meet there specific needs.

About my class
