Dynamath is a monthly magazine that is complete with literacy and math coupled together to help students learn about relative and global events happening in our world now. My students will have the opportunity to use these magazines to understand mathematical news around them, to help them critically think about solving problems, and to engage their curiosity as they will be able to discuss and relay these events to their families at home. Each month students will complete a Dynamath log and choose one event that sparks an interest in them. They will compose important information from that article and take it home to share with their families. They will be required to write down three questions that their family had and then answer them in the next reading of their chosen article.
