Some of our students have calculators and some do not. Those without graphing calculators do not have the same opportunity to understand functions visually. This is important because some students really thrive off of that visual aspect in learning and could use it to really reinforce certain lesson principles. Visual learning is a must! Every student does not create knowledge and learn the same way as the next. In order to bridge the gap and reach the widest margin of students, we need the tools correct tools. Calculators will serve as a tool to maintain the visual learning aspect within the classroom
