I am teaching a new IB Drama Lit and Performance class at WHS in south Minneapolis. I am excited because my classes are quite diverse which has not been the case in most IB classes offered. It is SO important for my students to read plays and novels written by people who represent them! We have no funding at our school for new books. This is why I am asking for help. The plays I have chosen are Disgraced by Ayad Akhtar, The Wolves by Sarah Delappe, Topdog/Underdog by Suzan-Lori Parks, Angels in America by Tony Kushner, and Song of Solomon by Toni Morrison.
