The donations made to my students will help provide them with great resources to improve their reading comprehension in Spanish. Spanish speakers (especially first and second generation) tend to struggle with their reading and writing skills because we are primarily exposed to speaking. I want to help my students be able to pick up a book and break down the meaning and discuss the themes within it. By providing my students with these class sets, I hope to help them achieve just that! I want to have Lit Circles and Socratic Seminars with each book! I hope to instill positive reading habits for my students as they venture on in other Spanish courses!

About my class
