My project is focusing on obtaining quality toys for our youngest learners with disabilities. So many times, these students receive "hand me down" toys. Which works and is cost effective. However, it is a great day when students receive new toys! We as teachers receive a set amount of money each year to spend on our classrooms. Many times, that money goes towards snacks or simple classroom supplies. We receive our allotted money twice a year and have only 2 weeks to use that money. Many times, I need something when I do not have my allotted money and buy the needed items myself.
