Teaching students with special needs requires creativity, and often materials to assist my diverse students in learning. While my students don't often have access to technology at home, tablets can help students stay engaged and help them learn literacy, creativity, and technology. Using the tablets to help my students learn more about places around the world and increase and understanding and knowledge about diversity. Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. During independent work times students choose a location in the classroom. Students are more focused when they can take charge and choose a location that works for them.
