These materials will help equip my classroom with cultural artifacts to enrich the new French program I am starting at my school. My school has never offered French before and is building a program from the ground up. I have gotten a great set of textbooks from the school but would like to supplement my class with cultural experiences for my students. On the list of items I have requested are supplies to make diabolo à la menthe, buche de noel, Moroccan mint tea, henna, Swiss fondue, ramekins for making creme brulee, French films, French graphic novels, storybooks, and short stories. This will bring French class to life. Now that my school will have more than one world language we are also starting a World Culture Club and I will be able to share these experiences with more students.
